Fabulous Locations

If I have a chance to even visit half of these locations I will be happy. To stand at the edge of the Zion Canyon and watch the sunset will be first on my list.

Antelope Canyon in the Summer
Antelope Canyon was formed by erosion of Navajo Sandstone, primarily due to flash flooding and secondarily due to other Sub-aerial processes. Rainwater, especially during monsoon season, runs into the extensive basin above the slot canyon sections, picking up speed and sand as it rushes into the narrow passageways.

Las Medulas
The spectacular landscape of Las Médulas resulted from the Ruina Montium, a Roman mining technique described by Pliny the Elder consisting in the perforation of the mountain and latter irruption of great quantities of water that literally pulled the mountain down, a precedent of Californian hydraulic mining.
